Stargazers Escape is a boutique accommodation offering on the Granite Belt. While campers and caravans are a great way to explore the area, unfortunately we are not licenced to accommodate them.

The most popular ride to do on the Granite Belt is the Stanthorpe to Ballandean bike trail. This trail is on quiet country roads and is well-signposted. There are plenty of places to stop at along the way including award-winning wineries. 

The trail ride is mostly sealed, and a small portion of unsealed, back roads are open to minimal traffic. A moderate level of fitness is required. The minimum distance is approximately 30kms depending on what you want to see and how far you want to ride.

Unfortunately, there is no suitable charging station on the property.  There are however, high speed chargers available in town, just 5km away.

Your welcome gifts include a $20 voucher for local café, The Little Larder.  Being only 5km from town this is a great place to visit for breakfast.  Alternatively, we also offer a smashed avocado, DIY BBQ breakfast or continental breakfast baskets on request. These are available to add when booking. 

Yes!  Both our cottages have slow wood burning combustion fireplaces. The fire will be set ready for you to light on your arrival and sufficient firewood for your stay also provided.  Fires operate from April to October in the cottages and outside these times by arrangement.

No.  Your fireplace will be set ready to light on arrival.  Larger Firewood and additional kindling will be on the verandah.  These supplies are topped up during your stay.  If you need any assistance with lighting, setting or maintaining the fireplace we are more than happy to help.

Yes.  For an additional cleaning fee, we are happy to accommodate small, housetrained dogs in the cabin.
